Homework

Tonight your homework is to form sentences with the words we worked with today and found synonyms for:

Each group is responsible for their list of words.

Simply take your group's list of words and form a sentence for each one. Share your document with me and I will make any necessary corrections.

This is to practice applying the new vocabulary words for this unit to your writing.

See you tomorrow :)

Celebration Presentation Assignment

Hi Everyone :)

Unit 3 is about Celebration and for this topic I would like to assign a presentation instead of your usual essay

Your assignment is this: Pick a celebration of your choice, for example, Christmas or another festivity of some sort, and prepare a short 5 minute presentation on this celebration. You will be presenting it to the class at some point next week, probably Monday or Tuesday. Please include as much information as possible on your celebration, for example, history, tradition, ceremony, and provide pictures or videos or even actual props that you can bring to class and pass around for students to see. Be creative and have fun with it.

There will be no essay for this unit.

You can prepare your presentation in Google docs: Just go into documents, click on presentation and begin.

If you have any questions, please come to see me.

Monday is Review Day so make sure that you come to class, you won't want to miss Review for the Test. I will be posting the Unit 2 Test on Monday afternoon and you will have until Tuesday at noon to complete it.

Have a safe and wonderful weekend :) See you all next week.
